This is made just for little hands. Approximate ages for this water bottle is 3-8 years old. It has a soft silicone mouthpiece and It has fantastic silicone grippers on each side of the bottle. That works perfectly for my granddaughters little hands. She notices also how well she can hold the bottle. She will tell me look grandma I can't drop it and will twirl her hand about and we laugh. Once she did it with out closing the flip top and giggled, and then I laughed...lol! It still makes me laugh.

She love's it and asks for it as soon as she comes in the door. We also go on outing's, and this is an easy take along. I fill it up with water, milk, juice, koolaid, etc. and toss it into my purse or bag, but most of the time she will ask to carry it. She likes putting it in her cup holder next to her car seat.
When going inside places or to her dance classes, or her brothers Baseball Game's, etc. I pitch it into my purse or bag and she is always has a drink, where ever we go!

It is safe to wash these in a dishwasher, which I have done and in my sink of hot soapy water. It come with a brush for cleaning of the straw I use it when washing in the sink and prior to placing in the dishwasher. This water bottle is of great quality and I love the durability and knowing my granddaughter is safe not only just in it not breaking but also because it is BPA and anti-mold. The soft silicone mouth piece and the silicone grippers is a useful feature as my Granddaughter always asks for a straw and dance about twirling the cup. I have not seen her drop it yet! The most important thing is that she loves it! We are both very happy with this discounted purchase.
