Hey! Need A Review? Beware!

As you know I have not made any recent postings especially about any product/s I have recently purchased. I needed some time to think and get better if not a broader perspective on why I am blogging. I have wanted to explore more options and topics within my blog but have been reluctant in doing so for the simple reason:
"Do people really want to hear or know my own personal thoughts and idea's besides those not concerning a product or service I received?"
I put it off and decided to limit the content in my blog to the same old style...reviews and freebies only, again.

Why?
I received an item at a discount for my review. First, let me say I have received many items for my review that were just awful and several were well just junk. I returned each of those items without any problems from the business or persons. However, my experience with this one item was anything but okay. It looked good in fact really good, but I found the product did not do what it claimed. Its good looks did not help its ability to provide me with any of the featured area's of concern as it claimed it would.

My review would have been a negative one as well as my blog posting. I decided not to do a review or a posting in my blogs for the item and just return the item as I have before. The company suggested I keep the item with their regards.  I could not possibly use the item and I could not give the item to anyone, so I returned it anyway.  The Company that needs a review still expected me to do a "positive" review and a positive blog posting as well. I simply just could not! I flat out refused to give the item a good review.
The company that needed the review thought they could control my actions, they even gave me so-called suggestions of what I could say.  The company I worked under suggested I go ahead and do a review but I could omit my blog posting review. I let my company know that I was doing an honest review, and they agreed and totally had my back. I went ahead and did a review where I purchased the item. I was up front and to the point and I even included pictures.  It was my first forced bad review. But it was done.
As a result of my review, the company of the product I reviewed demanded I remove it immediately from the shopping website. I don't like leaving bad reviews in any way and was more than happy to remove it.  Little did I know that before I could remove my review of the product they proceeded to destroy any future reviewing activity by me.
In the end, they did manage to destroy my ability to leave reviews on ONE very popular online shopping website as they were able to prove I received monetary gain of $2.00 dollars. Which not only angered and frustrated not only me but the company I work under as well. To be honest,  there is more than one shopping website on the internet, but I started wondering why I was even doing reviews. The only profitable monetary gain I ever received was a discount on the purchase price and occasionally they would throw in free shipping.  To solve this any future reviews I do will be purchased fully out of my own pocket without any discounts.

I don't care who I'm working for or under; I don't care how rich, big and powerful your company is!  Please, don't think You can ever tell me what to say, where and/or how to say it!

"My reviews are just that mine and mine to give. They will be in my own words, honest and will contain my personal experiences and maybe a few of my thoughts.
I will place my review when I feel I have had a proper amount of time to give an informed and accurate accounting of my experiences and any performance related issues with the person, place, or thing.  Not before!
I also reserve the right to update or change any part of my reviews in the future with any changes I feel are necessary.

Providing a reliable, honest, informational review to the reader is my only goal...Period!  ~Tina M Nativio-Benson"

You can never harness freedom of speech and no one will never harness me!

After this, I have decided to move forward with my plans. I have been busy researching ways that will allow me to try a few of my own idea's and add a few of my what I call "off the wall thoughts."
My new blog postings may be a bit different and diverse, but not by much...I feel sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut if you have nothing good or helpful to say.  And If I do get angry enough what better place to be pissed off and lose it then in my own blog!
Until my next posting, stay cool...literally, be the peace you want to see in the world, know tomorrow is always different and your only limit is you!
